The sun was setting, it's light barely shining over the Temen-Ni-Gru. Daren stood a top of it, looking at the sky. The colors mixing, the orange light of the sun slowly disappearing under the black part of the night. It was beautiful, Daren remembered back to times with his family, they would spend nights watching the sun set together. Those were easier times, in Daren's life. He shook his head he knew that those times were gone, and he needed to focus on the present. His mission to rid the planet of humans, so demons could live without fear of hunters wiping them out. The human would pay for what they had done to his family.
He thought about it the past conversation that he had with his father. His father told him that his mother wouldn’t want this. But Daren didn’t care, it was about making them feel the same thing he had to deal most of his life. The heart ache, being alone with a mother’s comfort. That time was going to happen soon, he had found some demons that he needed to have one his side. One being the eldest son of Spada, yes he was the son of a traitor but he was around in demons so much he bet he would join Daren’s cause. If not he had something that would convince Vergil to join him. He knew to where a source of great power.
Then there was the other demon, who apparently went by Blaze. There wasn’t much swirling about him. Daren would have to judge him by ear, and figure out what to do about him on the fly. Luckily he was good a that sort of thing. He had sent a letter to each of them to meet him up on top of the tower hopefully they would here any time.

The fire devil had been relaxing in the park when he had gotten the message. The message had definitely taken his off guard for a moment. Blaze smirked at the temptation and the promise of power. This was what he had been looking for, after all. Though, his recent fight with the half devil had started because of his lust for power. He was a bit hesitant to show.
Regardless, here he was standing below the tower Temen-Ni-Gru as he gazed up at the towering ruins. He smirked slightly. Looked like he would have to climb the demonic tower to the top... Or he could fly up. In a flash he had triggered and had his wings spread, making his way up to the top.He couldn't fly very far up on his own, but he grabbed hold the side and began to climb up the side. He hoisted himself up over the edge and rolled. "You called?"

Vergil was normally one to ignore suspicious letters, especially from people he didn't know, but this one had been just vague enough to pique his interest. It was probably a trap for all he knew, but the devil was confident in his abilities to protect himself, so he decided to check it out. Though seeing the location made him second guess that decision. The half breed wasn't so sure about returning to the ruins of his downfall... but he was already here.
With a sigh, the devil ascended the ruins of the tower as quickly as possible. He was pretty surprised to see Blaze there, along with another man, though he quickly put a scowl on his face to cover that. "What's this all about?"

Daren was getting tired of waiting, he was a very impatient person by nature so the waiting around like this was not helping his nerves. Then he felt a power surge from beneath him, he was getting ready to check it out when a demon had crawled his way up on top and rolled in front of him. Daren examined him and saw he had white hair, this was not the Sparda child but the other demon he didn't hear much about except the name "Blaze right?" He said curiously. The demon had wings sprouting out of his back, Daren raised a eye brow as he judged him. This should be a interesting person to work with... he thought. Then another presence caught his attention.
He turned around, this man had white hair, it was the eldest son of Sparda. But he was greeted with a scowl on his face and demand to be told what this was about. Daren smirked this man was almost as impatient as he was, he raised his hands and lowered them to signal for Vergil to calm down. "First I want to thank both of you for meeting me here..." he said taking a few steps towards one of the ruined sculptures that once stood tall on top of the magnificent tower. "I have a proposition for both of you." he said in a even tone, he turned around to face both of them "I am in need of assistance with a big project, I want both of you to assist me." He said folding his arms over his chest. "Now doing this job will come with a payment." He said simply he closed his eyes and waited a few seconds to help reel them in.
But as the moments went on he wondered if he should tell them the full story or keep that part vague until he got what he wanted from both of them. When he opened his eyes he simply said "Power...I can get you that. Power beyond your wildest imagination." The wind began to blow harder as if to put emphasis on what he had just said. He would have to thank mother nature for that later. He eyes both of them keeping his eyes trained on each of them making sure they didn't make any sudden moves, he didn't want to have to fight them but he would if it came down to that.

"Correct." Blaze answered as he stood up straight, folding his wings behind his back. Blaze was above average in height, reaching six foot three. He wasn't surprised when he saw Vergil but he frowned slightly. Then he smirked and walked over to stand beside him. He felt safer being by the elder son of Sparda than he did by the strange demon that had called them here. He crossed his arms and curled his tail around his leg. Yeah, the fire devil had triggered to get up here. His body was covered in black scales. He ran his hands through his black hair to expose the sliver of two horns that were curved backwards there.
Blaze had been about ask what kind of payment when he heard the word power reach his ears. He didn't want to seem excited even though he was. "Power, huh? What could you offer that I don't already have?" He was testing the demon out of curiosity. He didn't really like the fact he would be working for someone though but he pushed that thought aside.

Vergil listened to the explanation with a very bored expression on his face. Was this what he had sounded like before the tower collapsed? It was pretty lame, in his opinion. What did he need power for? He'd been to Hell and back, and it was safe to say he didn't fancy going there anytime soon, and power in the human world was kind of worthless for it meant socializing with the humans all the time.
"Well, get on with the explanations," he huffed out impatiently. He would at least hear the stranger out before leaving.

The half-breed and the demon where standing next to each other, from the that he could deduce that they knew each other in some way. The black haired demon moved his hair back and revealed some horns that were sticking out of his head. Daren had to stifled a laugh as he examined them, "Yes power..." he responded. He walked closer to them so he wouldn't have to speak louder seeing as how the wind was beginning to pick up. Then the demon hybrid spoke up he was still impatient, he wanted answers and he wanted them now. Daren sighed and put his hand to his fore head and rubbed it. "Simply put, I want to make this place better for demons. By whipping out the humans." He said moving his hand and putting on a evil smile. "I want you two to help me with this."
He hoped that they would say yes, he didn't want to have to find more people to join his cause. Though he hadn't spoken to Hiraku yet, but he figured his brother was to much of a goody two shoes to do that. Daren put his hands behinds his back and waited for their response. He raised his eye brow in interest "So what do you guys say?" he asked eyeing both of them.

An instant snarl came from Blaze before he could stop himself. "Wipe the humans out, are you an IDIOT!?" He may have been an evil demon, but if the humans were wiped out, there would no one for the lessers to pick on and then they would get stronger. Mass chaos would break out among the demon world. He also had his feelings for humans to consider.
Blaze's eyes glowed dangerously as he began to growl. The demon could've said he was going to enslave the humans for all Blaze cared, but killing them off wasn't an option!

Vergil scowled slightly as the situation was explained. He couldn't agree to something like that, it would be suicide. "The humans are like cattle. What use would killing them all be?" he posed bluntly. It wasn't nice, but it was better than agreeing, right? "if you do something so drastic you're less likely to succeed..." Power sounded nice, yes, but still...

cattle huh? Daren thought, he hadn't take that possibility into account. Those the Blaze character was getting a little to huffy to not care a little about the humans whether he would admit to it or not. Daren placed his finger to his forehead to think, he considered the possibility of using the humans as cattle, thinking to use them as slaves. It defiantly was a interesting concept. He moved his hand from his head the pocket of his pants the other the half devil who had been scowling through most of his proposal was a more interesting story.
He decided for now he would tell them what they wanted to hear, he moved his hand back over to his mouth and said "I had never taken in the possibility of using them like that." He said thoughtfully "All I want to help demons live a safer lives, and help put them where they were. Before the great war." He said, he avoided using the fact that Sparda had betrayed them and tipped the scales, he knew he would need the son of Sparda to help him in his endeavors. He turned around and opened his arms gesturing towards the city "just think if we ran this world how much cleaner and safer it could be...Us three" He turned his gaze back over his shoulder eyeing both of them. "The humans have almost destroyed this earth. Even you two can't deny the beauty of this planet." He carefully watched them to judge their reactions.

The fire devil took a step back as he considered the demon's words. "Us three... Together then?" A smirk found its way onto the pure blood's lips. He wasn't going to agree just yet, he fully wanted to know what this demon was after. "I see, Well... I think the humans have forgotten who ruled this world before them. Look at them. Most of them live their innocent lives, not knowing who we are... I think we should instill fear in them once more... The way things used to be."
The fire devil held up his hand and quietly whispered his true name. For just a moment a demonic rune of a black dragon appeared in the air, his symbol. He mirrored the dragon's stance and the insignia disappeared. He would let what he had shown the demon sink in, let him think about who exactly who he was. How old Blaze really was. This demon knew nothing about him, so he would let him know what he had told Vergil. "I may be known as Blaze now, but I was once a ruler of my own plane of the demon realm...I knew what it was like to see the humans live in fear."

Vergil had a very unsettling feeling about all of this. Sure, the proposal didn't sound all that bad up front... but this devil gave him the creeps. Was he supposed to just trust some strange devil that showed up and started promising power? No one shared power, it just didn't happen. Demons were notorious for being greedy about such things, so why now, and why someone who he didn't even know? It was all a little suspicious.
The half breed glanced over at Blaze when the fire devil began to get interested. Was he really buying this crap? Sure, the promise of power and everything else sounded great... and maybe if someone as old and apparently strong as Blaze believed it, then maybe there was something to it. "I'd like to hear more..." Vergil finally spoke up, nodding his head slowly.

Daren raised a eye brow while Blaze spoke speaking about he ruled his own plane. He was impressed but that was about as far as his feelings went towards it. The sun continued to fall in the background the sky slowly getting darker and the moon rising behind the people in front of him. The glow from the sun disappearing but the light from the moon lighting back up the area where they stood. Daren put his hands behind his back and gripped both as Blaze finished speaking. He nodded towards him to acknowledged that he had heard everything. "It's good to have an old power with us then" He said smiling.
Vergil who wanted to hear more Daren's plan spoke and caught his attention. Daren met his eyes, "Have you ever heard of the Amulet of the Ancients?" he asked Vergil he was of course referring to the amulet made by the first demons that held a section of each of their seven powers. It was told who held it would have a great power, Daren had come across it in some reading a while back before he started gathering people for his crusade. "I have a few people looking for it as we speak. Once they find it we shall begin." He said simply. In truth he knew where it was but it was buried in a ancient temple that needed to be cleared.
Daren walked past his two hopefully partners and stared at the moon that was slowly rising into the sky. As it rose he could feel the tempiture the drop. Daren closed his eyes his mind quickly wandering back to his mother but very swiftly returning and getting back to the matter at hand. He turned around to face them his back facing the moon he loved to look at. "So what do you say to this endeavor?" he asked them both holding out his hands.

"That amulet hasn't been seen in ages. I doubt it even exists anymore." Blaze pointed out, crossing his arms over his scaled chest. If it did exist, there was no way this demon would want to share its power. Specially not with an ancient like him. The fire devil glanced over to Vergil and waited for what he would say about this matter.
