Considering I see some people still frequent this place just a bit I'm extending an invitation to Project Outland which is a forums.net board using proboards v5. The forum has no filter as far as content (IE violence, nudity, etc.) and thus it is considered a mature role play. It has its own spin on history including DMC history that has been included in on the site. You'll find a lot of things here, Qunari, Elves, Dwarves, and more.
The story is rather interesting as well while rather cliche as it's designed to be. It opens many holes for people to fill with their own history and all comes together rather well.
Over a thousand years ago a great purge happened where the Elven High King sealed away all magic from humanity, likewise Sparda sealed the Underworld at the request from the High King. In 2000 someone broke the seal that was supposed to last for 2000 years, and unleashed all hell into the world. Humans once again learned magic and the races of old times returned. There were several magic wars until finally someone caused the Outlands to be created by collapsing society with nuclear weapons.
Civilization still exists in some parts but the majority of the world is a wasteland. In our history Dante and Vergil are MIA, Sparda has a brother named Arma. Dante has two illegitimate children: Anthony and Jacqualyn while Trish is presumed dead and Lady is MIA. A lot of the history has yet to be written and we'd like to invite everyone who loves DMC and the likes to check out our forum and perhaps they'll enjoy it. If this is too much of an advertisement for a dead site please take it down.
