I want this site to be fun for all , so fighting/ rude behavior or harassment of other players will not tolerated in the least! I'm very laid back and most of the site rules are proboards rules, but there are a few things I wanted to list that have caused trouble in the past, just to make things easier for everyone. All I ask is for you guys to please be considerate towards one another and think before you speak, if it's not nice then you probably shouldn't say it. Thanks! <3

Your Character


Character Creation:
New Members who have registered and are interested in joining the site must have an application in progress a day after signing up and that same application must be completed no later than one week after it was posted. This is to keep people from signing up, starting an app and then never finishing it. Any app that does meet the requirements will be automatically denied. [If you need more time for whatever reason please contact the head admin and let her know.] Thank you.

Original Characters: OC's and Gijinka style characters (a human version of Rebellion or Kalina Ann for example) are more than welcome on the site, just remember that you can't make any OC's that are directly tied to a Canon Character without talking to them first. I would also like to avoid kids with Canon parents or say, Lady having a sister, unless it was planned ahead of time and agreed on by all parties involved. I know this site is somewhat AU but I'd like to keep things like the lack of children and blood related family members for the games main characters canon.


Canon Characters: Try to keep your characters 'in character ' as much as possible. While I know the whole point of role play is to come up with your own scenarios for your character and it's fun to mess around with your character and have them say or do things they normally wouldn't. So as I mentioned above, I just don't want to see Dante being the father of 20 kids (any kids for that matter) or Vergil frolicking with butterflies in a patch of flowers, as funny as that may be. You can feel free to post about that in the c-box. lol That's why it's there. xD I trust you guys to know the characters you are role playing well.

I'm perfectly alright with characters having relationships with the canons, because come on, Dante's obviously a ladies man, but I'd like it to be kept as in character as possible. That's all.


Relationships:Which leads me to my next point, It's common in role-play for some couples to desire a lovechild. Don't get me wrong; I see nothing wrong with your character having children, I just don't want to see a massive baby boom.

* And also, remember that role playing content of the adult nature is not allowed as per proboards site rules. (These aren't my rules, they are proboards rules) So try to keep things that everyone can read PG-13.



Character Profile: To avoid confusion make sure you only have one character profile per account, for example (My Lady character account is only for Lady , If I were to take up Trish as another character, I would not be allowed to roleplay as Trish on Lady's account.) It just makes things terribly confusing for everyone when there are two characters on one account and it's easier to keep the accounts separate.

Role-playing/ General Site rules


Activity: Since we've noticed activity on the site has been decreasing significantly, all members will now be required to have at least three posts per week. This isn't difficult and some of you post more than that in one hour.



Grammar-- Since this is a RP forum, I would appreciate it if you tried to keep up with the linguistics of the language. Therefore, try to make what you post understandable, no slang. Put commas and periods where they belong, pay attention to your writing so you don't forget to type in words that could make your posts difficult to read, etc. Abbreviations, such as "L.O.L.", "L.M.A.O.", should be left in the c-box.



Posting: When role playing, try to write out full and developed sentences. Your posts don't have to be ridiculously long, as I know not everyone can do that but it's only fair to give your writing partner something to work with. Remember this is a role-play forum after all. We range from experienced beginner to advanced. One or two word/ sentence replies are not acceptable, write out a paragraph at the very least, two is preferable. More is always welcome but not required. So don't feel pressured to write an essay if you're just starting out. =]





Language For the drama of it all, and because we all know Dante curses like a sailor, I have taken off the block on curse words. I do ask, however, that you keep the cussing to a minimum and only use it when it fits with your story line, there is no crude or tasteless language allowed, otherwise I will be forced to restrict such language once more.




Bullying-- Harassment and Fighting with other role-players is strictly prohibited. You will be given one warning in such an offense, and should you ignore it and continue, you will have your IP banned and your username deleted. Also, please remember that things that happen in character do not translate over ooc, just because a character dislikes yours does not necessarily mean the mun feels the same.


--- Comments to other role-players based on sexual, racial, or any other kind of prejudice will not be tolerated. You will be given one warning.




God Modding: No character is all powerful. Even Vergil has been tossed around a few times. If you take a hit, react accordingly. This especially goes for battles, you do not have the right to assume and write out how a character will react or respond without the players permission.


-- Also, as this goes hand in hand, you can not kill another person's character in a post without that player's consent, it won't count. Always make sure to check with your partner first before you automatically jump into it. This is just to avoid conflict.



Signatures/Avatars: Keep them no bigger than 500 x 200, only because outrageously large siggy's distort the pages in posts and that can slow down the site.. I don't mind if you sig is off by a few numbers, I'm pretty lenient about sigs, just don't make them too big. Icons are 150x150.



Advertisements/ Affiliates: Please keep all advertisements and affiliate requests to that specific board, it is guest friendly for that reason.


Absence: If you are going to be gone for a long period of time, for whatever reason, please be sure to post something about it in the absentee board HERE, or send the head admin [Lady] a message. Any character who is gone longer than a month without word will be assumed inactive and, if Canon, their character will be made available and they will have to re-apply for the role if they wish to reclaim them.
